Breakfast Forum

8:30 am on Wednesday, 5 June 2019

Do you want to understand the future of insurance as it is being impacted by advances in digital technology? Join us for breakfast on 5 June 2019 at Cass Business School to hear about:

The Digitalisation of the Insurance Industry

Hosted by Cass Business School in conjunction with iWIN and the Worshipful Company of Insurers, this interactive iWIN Forum session is open to anyone interested in the future of digital advances in the insurance industry.

The term “digitalisation” is widely used in the insurance industry these days, but it remains an abstract concept for many. In particular, people often have narrow views about what digital technology is, what it might enable, and who will be the winners and losers from its adoption.

In this session, we will look at the latest understandings about digital technology in terms of what legacy assets and activities it might replace, but also how it can complement existing activities and enable new activities. We will use this latest research to consider how participants can take advantage of digital technology in their organisations in ways that can further their strategic objectives.
